Please note that prices are in USD
Dear fellow fiddler,
Have you learned how to play a few tunes, but don't know where to go next?
Do you wonder why when you learn a tune it doesn't sound quite right?
Do you wonder what people are talking about when they ask "What key is this piece in?" Do you wonder why that even matters?
Do you want to move on and learn some new techniques?
This is the place for you!
This course is designed for fiddlers who either have come through the "Fiddle Kickstart" program, or who already have experience with fiddling. It is meant to take your playing to the next level!
This course will cover techniques such as slurs (playing more than one note per bow) and double stops (playing more than one note as a time) as well as concepts such as keys.
I am committed to teaching you the concepts and techniques you the concepts so that you can go out and learn new fiddle tunes on your own with confidence!
Here is what my students are saying:
"Love this course as I can go at my own pace! The group Zoom class are great as problems and handy tips are brought up and answered by Katherine in a knowledgeable and easy to understand way!
I highly recommend her classes!"
- Elaine Garry
"Katherine is a great violin teacher. Well worth your money. Excellent for students that like the flexibility of watching the lesson at their convenience.
Best perk is that these lessons are yours to keep.
I can play with Katherine every day and have a model for intonation and rhythm."
- Esther Horst
"I wanted to let you know how much I have enjoyed learning violin.
Location is no longer an obstacle to learning. Zoom has made it possible no matter one's location or lack of teachers in my area.
It is nice to not even have to leave my house.
Somehow your method worked for me. I liked all the tunes you chose. My questions were answered promptly."
- Charlene Roberts
